We are UMD's best kept secret. The Wesley is a faith community where people value one another. We find it more valuable to ask good questions about life and faith than to claim to have the right answers. We find ourselves and our world bettered when we care for the earth and humanity. The Wesley is a place to be valued and to value our world because we value God. Everyone is welcome no matter their individual identity.
We often gather in the Memorial Chapel building. On Wednesday nights at 7p, we worship with a service that combines music and prayer with a discussion about life and faith. Many perspectives help us to value one another and God in ways beyond the perspective of one sermon. On Thursday nights at 6:30p, we gather to rest from the demands of college life and to enjoy one another's company at Meal and Game Night in the Chapel Lounge. (After all, God values us for who we are not what we do.)
